We're a small, senior team that pairs frontier AI with practical engineering. We hire for judgment, ownership, and a bias for shipping.

You find the work and you help shape what gets built. This role owns the front half of every engagement — generating demand, running the first conversations, understanding what a business actually needs — and then stays in the room while engineering turns it into something that ships. It suits someone who is genuinely comfortable on both sides: credible with an owner talking about revenue, and credible with an engineer talking about what the data will and won't support.

What you'll own

  • Generate demand end to end — positioning, outbound, content, partner and referral channels, and the follow-up that turns interest into a booked assessment.
  • Run first conversations with owners and operators: understand how the business actually works, where the time goes, and what's worth automating before anyone writes code.
  • Translate what you hear into a scoped engagement — the problem stated plainly, the outcome that matters, and the constraints engineering needs to know about up front.
  • Work alongside the build team through delivery, so the thing that ships is the thing that was sold, and scope changes get surfaced early rather than at handoff.
  • Own the AI Readiness Assessment as a product: sharpen how it's positioned, priced, and delivered, using what you learn from every engagement.
  • Build the marketing that compounds — case studies from real results, a point of view worth publishing, and a pipeline that isn't dependent on any single channel.

What you'll bring

  • A track record of finding business yourself, not inheriting a pipeline — you've done the outbound, run the discovery calls, and closed work.
  • Enough technical fluency to hold a real conversation about systems, data, and integrations. You don't have to write the code; you do have to know what you're promising.
  • The judgment to say no. A scoped engagement you can deliver beats a bigger one you can't, and this role is trusted to make that call early.
  • Clear writing. Most of the selling here happens in a proposal, an email, or a case study — not on a stage.
  • Comfort in ambiguity and a small team, where the person who spots the problem is usually the person who fixes it.

Helpful, not required

  • Experience selling or delivering into insurance agencies, or fluency with an agency management system — AgencyZoom, HawkSoft, EZLynx, Applied Epic, AMS360.
  • Hands-on time with automation platforms — Make, n8n, Zapier — or with a CRM's API rather than just its UI.
  • You've built something yourself with AI tooling, even roughly. It changes how you scope.

How we work

  • Small and senior. No layers between you and the work, and no handoff to a delivery team you never speak to.
  • Most engagements ship in four to six weeks, and every one is measured against the ROI we committed to.
  • Governance and security are part of the build, not a later phase — you'll be expected to represent that accurately to clients.
  • Based in Sandpoint, Idaho, working with businesses everywhere. Remote is fine if you're self-directed and overlap the workday.

Send a note with what you've built or sold, and one example of a deal you scoped down rather than up. No formal cover letter needed.
